As recently as 1000 years ago the elephant bird was still there, waiting patiently for, among other things, Murasaki Shikibu in Japan to finish writing her novel Genji Monogatari. The elephant bird never read it, though. Some creature's Dogma gets run over by their Karma. The elephant bird was run over by its own Mad-a-Gas-Car.
