The upper one is from a copy of the original manuscript that Lewis Carroll gave to Alice Liddell in 1864 as "A Christmas Gift to a Dear Child in Memory of a Summer Day". The handwriting and drawings are by Carroll. It is shorter than the completed book, and Carroll's drawings are wonderful.
